Miniature model of the leather tannery drum
The tannery drum model is a miniature of a machine which is par excellence the symbolic machine of tanneries. In fact, it is the basic machinery of all tanning companies. This machinery allows the processing of the leather that is inserted into the barrel, usually wood, with specific chemical products for tanning leather. The model is functional with the tank for the water entering the drum and the discharge through the grates on the ground.

Project
Carrying out this project required a lot of attention to the woodworking that I used in the construction of the drum and the circuit that introduces the water inside. The water drainage system was also complicated. A mechanism that seemed relatively simple turned out to be challenging. Very beautiful in person due to the color of the natural wood.
Materials
The materials used in this model of drum for tanneries is the wood with which the drum itself is made. Plastic (with which I made the water collection tank under the earth grates), metal for the various ducts and pins and other minor materials are present. In perfect working order like the original.
Fully functional miniature roller coater. A model suitable for display for offices and companies.
Leather tannery spray model. A working miniature of the spray that is used in the tannery, great for display.
