Diorama of San Miniato
Diorama of San Miniato on the Piazza della Repubblica
The diorama of San Miniato is what I have seen in my native country. This square is remarkably beautiful and suggestive, only when the diorama is finished my sono reso conto che era meglio is done with a nighttime illumination as in the case of the diorama of Santa Croce sull’Arno. The part of the palazzo in mattoni che sarebbe il retro del palazzo vescovile l’ho dovuto fare due volte perchè la prima volta le parti che sono con l’intonaco non mi erao venute bene, e in questi diorami certi errori si pagano ben profumati. This is my è accaduta with the sottopassaggio,. In this case, while you are working on the mattons, you are cutting the incisor into the broth and destroying a part of the tunnel.

Project
This project gave me a lot of satisfaction and headaches. Two pieces, as mentioned before I had to do a second time. The choice of this square was due to the fact that there was a medieval underpass which was very picturesque and lent itself perfectly to being represented as a diorama.
Materials
Like all landscape dioramas, the material par excellence that I use is expanded polyester. Other materials such as plastic windows or even metal for handrails and more. Basically, in this reproduction I really used many different materials.
Diorama of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana which reproduces the main square of the historic village
Diorama of the Carrara marble quarries in polyester and real marble debris, mechanical means purchased online and appropriately aged.
